Millwork Conversations is providing an opportunity to learn from people across communities in Nebraska and the country about new ideas and what’s possible – how to push past real and imagined boundaries. Each month will provide an inspiring, memorable experience for attendees through compelling conversations. On March 19, the discussion will focus on the importance of civic engagement with a talk moderated by Jo Giles of the Women’s Fund of Omaha.
Joining her are:
›› Brad Christian-Sallis of Nebraska Table
›› Janeth Cano of Heartland Workers Center and
›› Kimara Snipes of One Omaha
Civic Nebraska will operate a voter registration table, parallel to Habitat For Humanity providing guests with valuable information on petitions and civic concerns.
