At Civic Nebraska, we believe democracy is best when everyone participates — at the ballot box, in our schools, on our streets, and in our neighborhoods. That’s why I and a politically diverse group of Nebraska undergrads founded Civic Nebraska in 2008. Since then, our Youth Civic Leadership, Civic Health, and Voting Rights initiatives have continued to build upon this idea, empowering more and more Nebraskans to participate in our democracy.
Our organization has had a memorable year, our tenth serving Nebraskans. And at times like these, it’s important for us to emphasize just how deeply we value Civic Nebraska’s generous and considerate supporters like you. Our annual report, We Are Civic Nebraska, provides a window into our impact in the past year.
