Primary Election Day: Lincoln city election

On April 4, 2023, the City of Lincoln holds PRIMARY elections for:

Mayor of Lincoln (through 2027) – two of three candidates will advance to the May 2 general election
Lincoln City Council (four of seven seats) – two candidates in each of the city’s geographic districts will advance to the May 2 general election
Lincoln Public Schools Board of Education (three of seven seats) – two candidates in each of Districts 2, 4, and 6 will advance to the May 2 general election
Lincoln Airport Authority (two of five seats) – four of five candidates will advance to the May 2 general election

Polls are open from 8 am to 8 pm CDT. If you requested an early mail-in ballot, you can deposit it in the county’s official dropbox at 601 N. 46th St. until 8 pm CDT.
