Civic Nebraska’s Strengthening Democracy Awards are Oct. 16 – and ticket reservations close soon! Don’t miss this powerful evening of recognition and inspiration at the historic Livestock Exchange Ballrooms in Omaha. We’ll honor six remarkable Nebraskans whose everyday actions are helping to build a more modern and robust democracy.

Strengthening Democracy Awards celebrate educators, organizers, advocates, and community members who strengthen our shared civic life. This year’s program will feature Nebraska State Poet Jewel Rodgers, whose voice and vision remind us how creativity and civic engagement are inseparable.

To make this celebration accessible to all, we’re offering a pay-what-you-can ticket model. Whether you give modestly or generously, your presence strengthens the evening and helps sustain this annual tradition.
