Collective Impact Lincoln New Year’s Celebration

We hope to see some of your friendly faces at our New Year’s Celebration on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the Belmont Community Center! We’ll have some fun activities, good tunes, and goodies. Let’s celebrate together!

This five-week program will start Jan. 16 and will be every Monday from 3:15 to 4:15 pm until  Feb. 13. Join us in Room 102 at LHS!

Legislative hearing: LB225 (civic education)

The bill would add a student representative to each Nebraska school district’s Committee on American Civics, which ensures that social studies curriculum provides foundational civic knowledge and aligns with state standards.

Lincoln High: Eighth Grade Open House

Join representatives from many of our Lincoln High CLC clubs, and learn more about what after-school at Lincoln High has to offer.  

Eighth Grade Information Night: Lincoln Northeast

Our CLC and clubs will be participating in Lincoln Northeast's annual Eighth Grade Information Night. Look for us after the main program to learn about what after-school at Northeast has to offer. 

Legislative hearing: LB535 (voter ID)

The Nebraska Legislature’s Government, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing for LB535 – State Sen. Julie Slama’s voter ID bill – at 1:30 pm CST on Wednesday, Feb. 1, in Room 1507 of the State Capitol.

Black Political Summit

The Summit is focused on increasing voter participation and political power in Omaha, specifically in the Black community.

CLC Walk Together 2023

Students in several CLC programs have been learning about sustainability. The students have built on these lessons to create a community showcase/celebration of art, slam poetry/spoken word, textiles, and other
projects focused on the theme of sustainability.
